Mac History

How It All Started

The Grand Board of Directors of Kappa Alpha Psi® Fraternity Inc. granted approval on September 27th, 1986 to establish an alumni chapter in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

 

The Murfreesboro (TN) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi® Fraternity Inc. was chartered and incorporated under the watch of the 25th Grand Polemarch Randall C. Bacon on November 22nd, 1986 at the Ramada Inn as an all Life or Life Subscribing member Chapter where Brother Robert Scales Jr. was elected Polemarch. The national representative that was present at the ceremony was the Senior Vice Polemarch Dr. Ullysses McBride.  The South Central Province Polemarch was O.C. Pleasant.

The MAC is proudly known as "The Standard".
